Overview

Turnstile is a Windows desktop application that helps you choose which browser opens a link. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

Data Collection

Turnstile does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All data generated by the application is stored locally on your device in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Turnstile\. This includes:

Rules — your browser routing rules
Usage history — which browsers you selected for specific URLs
License information — trial status and Pro license state
Preferences — browser order and theme settings

Network Access

Turnstile only makes network requests for the following:

Microsoft Store in-app purchases — if you choose to upgrade to Pro, purchase validation is handled by the Microsoft Store API under Microsoft's Privacy Policy

Turnstile does not send your URLs, browsing history, or any other data to any server.

Third-Party Services

Microsoft Store — Used for in-app purchase processing. Microsoft's own privacy policy applies to transaction data.

We do not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking tools.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security. No data is transmitted over the internet by Turnstile itself.

Children's Privacy

Turnstile is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
